Flu season and the injections
are scarce…..
As
amazing as it may seem I think that most people who have been thinking
that a flu shot is the answer to the cold seasons may be missing the
boat. Did you know that the injection contains both aluminum and mercury
and a host of other toxic materials or perhaps the fact that ½ of the
supply was bacterially contaminated ?
These two toxic minerals may be the last bad medical idea in immunization.
The mercury acts as preservative and the aluminum is a carrier. You
might recall that most manufactures of vaccines have removed these minerals,
following the outcry from the pediatric community, as there may be an
association with autism spectral disorders. The aluminum has had a direct
association with Alzheimer’s disease for many years.
On the website Dr. Sherri Tenpenny D.O.
has a very nice article that gives a
succinct overview of the pro’s and con’s along with Dr. Mercola’s comments
regarding the flu vaccine, both the inhaled and injected forms.
Many of the over the counter (OTC) products on the market are exactly
the opposite of what will help you with flu symptoms. The runny nose
is a nuisance but the body’s intelligence is such that the discharge
is removing the invaders. By using a decongestant you stop the natural
response and allow the bacteria or virus to multiply more easily. The
GAO (government accounting office) did a study on the effects of the
OTC cold products and found them to be overall very ineffective. They
make the patient feel better as they are proactive and provide symptom
relief but they do not help the immune system.
At
the Center of Healthä we have
had a long list of natural products that can effectively work both as
a preventive and treatment for the flu and colds.

Vitamin
E deception…read between the lines
The intentional distortion regarding vitamins and natural health products
really has hit new lows. For those of you reading the newspapers last
week vitamin E was the latest slander victim. The study utilized 19
prior studies which took a potpourri of vitamin input and claimed that
their was a finding of less favorable outcomes if very ill patients
took vitamin E. Yech ! The studies never elaborated on the natural vs
synthetic E , the average time of the studies was only 3 years or the
use of only alpha fraction along with the fact that the patients studied
were severely ill. But no matter, after years of long term studies
by multiple reputable researchers, particularly decades of using
doses up to 2400 IU a day, by the Shute brothers, both MD’s with documented
excellent outcomes,
the press declared
Vitamin E a problem ?
If your interested in the rest of the story read the whole study at

and consider the issues raised.

of the Annals of Internal Medicine, editors comments.
Cautions
Trials that tested high
dosages involved adults with chronic diseases, and these findings may
not be generalizable to healthy adults. Some trials evaluated multivitamin
combinations….
The real issue is will you have any retained choice to address your
health with vitamins and minerals following these nonsensical attacks
on the supplement industry ? Scary…yes ???
I will include additional material regarding this controversy in the
next issue.
Atopic

ATOPIC DERMATITIS/ECZEMA - Diet - In performing a
PUBMED search evaluating dietary intervention and elimination of potential
allergenic foods in the management of atopic eczema/dermatitis syndrome,
14 prospective studies were found. Allergenic food exclusion claimed
efficacy in 13 of the 14 studies and was most beneficial in infants,
in patients with elevated immunoglobulin E levels and/or multiple food
sensitization, and in patients with a diagnosis of food allergy. Studies
ranged from 12 to 138 children. There was no uniformity in the exclusion/trial
of foods as part of the dietary intervention. The most common foods
eliminated were eggs and cow’s milk, with additional foods possibly
being peanut, soy and wheat. Sometimes hypoallergenic protein hydrolysates
were utilized. Cow’s milk and eggs were also sometimes eliminated from
the diets of breast-feeding mothers. “Dietary Treatment of Childhood
