All Motor Vehicle Insurance, Most Personal injury policies, and Most Workman's Compensation Plans are accepted, without cost to the client, within policy limits.

This list is NOT inclusive. There are many out of state and other insurance companies that will cover our services. Our coverage continues to expand with our acceptance into the expanded HMO/PPO world.

Most carriers, including the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and a number of HMOs and PPO's, cover our services.(See above insurance List) To maintain our reasonable fees, we request payment at the time of service. If your deductable is met and your insurance will reimburse directly to our office, other arrangements are acceptable. Our staff will gladly check with your insurance carrier to confirm coverage. Workmans compensation claims are accepted with NO fee to the patient.

We also accept personal injury, auto and homeowner's insurance. Ask our receptionist for more information.

Medicare, does not recognize Naturopathic physicians or preventive care, however Mary Lou Follett FNP is a covered provider, and Medicare billing is available, on a very limited basis.

It's important to understand that the contractual agreement with your insurance, is between you and your insurance company. We will submit the necessary forms and information to file your claim. However there are literally thousands of policies and issues that determine your reimbursement. Please also appreciate that NO insurance company currently operating on the West Coast, will reimburse for natural medications. This will only change,if you the consumer, demand a change in their policies.

We have extensive experience with most of the insurance companies. The timeliness and issues with acceptance of claims is based on many criteria. Remember that most plans have a deductable amount that must be met first, before any reimbursement takes place. By carefully reviewing your insurance guide you should be able to determine what services are eligable and what medical proceedures will be considered acceptable. Some proceedures may require pre-authorization.

As the government determines your rights regarding HMO's and other health organizations, keep in mind that your input is critical. Call your representatives and let them know how you feel health care delivery should take shape in the years to come. If you feel that your companies insurance coverage is less than adaquate consider opting out, if possible, or having the company shop for a more desirable carrier. The current market place is now favoring the consumer. If your company shops with an independant agent you will get the services you desire at a competative price. For futher information, call the Center.
