Autism
Autism in its many forms, has been and will continue to be an evolving medical story with new and more detailed understanding
of the underlying mechanism becoming known over time. What we currently know is that the kids seem to be a chemical experiment
gone awry. From the dysfunctional GI tract to the enzyme inhibitions, I perceive these children as the canaries of our culture.
In the past 26 years of practice I have seen the often
mislabeled disorders of various neurological diseases, environmental
sensitivities, chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome, and fibromyalgia become a blur of similarities of known chemical
disruption coupled with often time self induced poisoning ranging from dietary indiscretion to heavy metal exposures from
questionable hygienic practices to overt poisoning with immunization.
What makes our medical system run amok with the notion
that challenging newborns with infective agents will duplicate natures approach or result in consistent immune responses ?
Are we becoming so afraid of "the bugs" that we intentionally expose those at low risk to high risk potentials ? What happened
to the concept of transferred immunity first, via breast feeding ?
I have been participating with a number of unique medical professionals since 1999, specifically the Autism Research Institute also known as the Defeat Autism Now organization, to bring you a more unified approach to the diagnosis, treatment and access to resources. This organization has been in the forefront of the biomedical approaches to treating this disorder. I highly recommend their extensive site at
Autism.com. This organization meets its objectives in providing evidence based therapies and funding research.
Although it must appear as an overwhelming blur to those new to
the spectrum of this disorder, you can understand the immunology, physiology, and the conceptual framework with which YOU
can make intelligent decisions for your child's care.
At the Center of Health™ we strive to make your medical experience one of working as a team member exploring your
child's disorder. Complexities of the medical system are understandable. My approach is to start at the beginning of the process,
ingestion and digestion. Without the proper fuel and the ability to deliver it to the cells, all else is doomed. Evaluation
of the gut can be accomplished via a number of approaches. We can evaluate the input using a diet diary and the output products
via both stool, urine and blood, along with a good history and physical.
Having been contacted by a number of parents to start the process toward this work. I will be updating and providing additional
information as soon as possible.

A jab against those who choose to not immunize their children, was effectively portrayed on the ER program (2/15/01). The
parent appeared as a lame uninformed and misguided individual. For those interested in some hard data you might want to read

Individual and Community Risks of Measles and Pertussis Associated With Personal Exemptions to Immunization. Might be dry reading, but the message is clear that the risks can be calculated.
My attitude regarding the use of immunization remains VERY guarded. We do carry in office both the tetanus and diphtheria,
separately and together. I feel strongly that the proverbial jury is out, when it comes to determining the real implications
of injecting foreign substances, with preservatives and carrier substances. One of the apparent issues that appears clearer
as the statistics continue to arrive, is the use of multiple immunizations administered at the same time, resulting in more
significant side effects. Clearly the approach of waiting for the immune system to mature and then, if appropriate administering
individual non-preserved vaccine/s would be a prudent course of action for most individuals.
The law firm of Waters & Kraus, LLP has filed the first known civil case alleging that the mercury-based preservative
thimerosal, used recently in more than 30 childhood vaccines, has caused mercury poisoning in many children. Counter, et al
v. Abbott Laboratories, et al, (Cause No. GN 100866, 200th District Court - Travis County, Texas). The symptoms of mercury
poisoning are, in many cases, identical to the symptoms of autism... Children have been exposed to cumulative levels of mercury
from the vaccines that exceed threshold safety levels that have been established by the United States Environmental Protection
Agency. Waters & Kraus anticipates that a significant number of individual cases against the vaccine industry will be

As of June 1, 2007 the offer increased to $80,000 and will climb $5,000 per month.
The mixture will include, but will not be limited to, the following ingredients: thimerosal (a mercury derivative), ethylene
glycol (antifreeze), phenol (a disinfectant dye), benzethonium chloride (a disinfectant), formaldehyde (a preservative and
disinfectant), and aluminum.
Doctors note:
Many of the current vaccines contain a number of these ingredients......gives
one pause when considering options. Interesting it's expected that the current crop of vaccinations will continue to rise.
Consider the assault on the immune system of youngsters and the cumulative amount of toxic metals injected into their bodies.
